Social responsibility activities related to the March 11, 2011 earthquake and tsunami
DKSH Japan K.K. has established the DKSH Fantree Scholarship Foundation to support students who were affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and as a consequence have trouble continuing their studies.
The foundation's aims are to help reduce the number of students who have to reluctantly give up their academic pursuits because of financial difficulties arising due to losing their parents and having financial difficulties. The scholarship program to be run by the foundation is open to high school students who remain in school.
The fund has been established based on the donation contributed to DKSH Group from the business partners and 24,000 employees in 35 countries which was doubled by the group.

As part of its commitment to support people affected by the earthquake, DKSH Japan has established a system to allow employees five days of paid leave to participate in volunteer activities. The company further supports employee volunteers by covering necessary expenses, including transportation and accommodation. The program will run till end of September, 2011.
